The Republic of Kenya facing the eastern part of the Indian Ocean is an inhabitant for most African wild animals like the elephant, lion, giraffe and zebra and famous for the prairies and desert. Kenya protects the wild animals by designating many national park with Masai Mara National Park in southwest Kenya most famous. This area is mostly dwelled by the strongest and independent Masai people and home to the largest number of wild animals. Along with the Masai Mara National Park, Kenya boasts other famous ones like ‘Amboseli’ (famous for being an inhabitant for the elephant and its wide swamp), the Continent’s largest wildlife refugee, ‘Tsavo East and West’ and ‘Laikipia’ in the north. Nairobi National Park is located in an adjacent area of the capital, Nairobi. Nairobi, with 1/10 of the nations’ population living in, is the largest city in Africa and loved by visitors leaning for safari tour. The UNEP headquarters is also located in Nairobi, making the city an active participant in the international environment issue.
