Namibia, officially the Republic of Namibia, is a country in southern Africa on the Atlantic coast. Although most of its territory is a barren desert, they produce plentiful amount of marine and mineral resources from the Atlantic Ocean. The beautiful Atlantic Ocean line attracts many visitors across the world each year. Especially, the Namib Desert along with the long west coastal line of the Atlantic Ocean is famous for the ‘Desert for Sleeping Trees’, which runs more than 2m long and is an habitat for silent trees along the orange-colored sand hill and the middle of the desert. Ethosa National Park, also known as the heaven for wild animals and the Fish River Canyon, located in nearby the Republic of South Africa are also famous worldwide. Namibians consists of diverse tribes like Bushmen, Obambo, Cabango, Herero, Himba, Damara and Nama. They have their own language, culture and lifestyle. In the capital city of Windhoek, you can meet women in diverse traditional clothes. The most populous Obambo people are unique in wearing tens of layers of necklaces which are handed down to the first or most precious daughter.
