The Democratic Republic of Sao Tome and Principe consists of the two islands of "Sao Tome" and "Principe" and a number of smaller islets are belonged to the Gulf of Guinea region. Sao Tome, located south of Principe, is north of the equator. The capital city of Sao Tome is also in Sao Tome. Principe, which is smaller than Sao Tome is where Arthur Stanley Eddington and his team conducted the experiment of Albert Einstein’s Theory of Relativity to successfully prove it. Sao Tome and Principe mainly consists of Forros and Algolares who live in big communities and speak in Forro and Angolar. This country is a major cocoa exporter, accounting for 95% the total export volume (Released by the US Defense Department in 2006).
