Austria is a Central European country with rich traditions in music. The country is the homeland of great composers such as Schonberg, Schubert, John Strauss senior and junior, Haydn, Mozart, etc. The world’s famous Vienna Boy’s Choir and Wien Philharmonic Orchestra are also from Austria. The ‘Salzburg Festival,’ which opens in Salzburg famous for being the filming place of the movie ‘Sound of Music,’ is one of the most famous musical festivals in Europe.
