Located in the southwest of the Pacific, the Federated States of Micronesia is an archipelago of about 600 big small islands. This Federated States is composed of 4 different and distinct states including Yap, Chuuk (Truk), Pohnpei (Ponape), and Kosrae. The western most state, Yap is famous for using stones as currency. There are five kinds of donut-shaped stone coins (0.3m~4m) in this state. The Chuuk government, next to the Yap government, is renowned for the scuba diving course where divers can look around the sunken vessels during WWⅡ. As imperial Japanese military forces were stationed here, the thrown Japanese tanks, trucks, and missiles are still detected between coral reefs. Palikir, the capital city of the Federated States of Micronesia sits in Pohnpei Island where the Pohnpei government is established next to the Chuuk government. Palikir is also home to the nation’s airport and government agencies. Palikir Pass, north of Pohnpei, gains a huge popularity among suffers on the globe. Finally, the rightmost Kosrae government is noted for the hats and bags made of bananas.
